At Bottom Line Yoga we’ve recognized the growing trend in corporate nap spaces. With many company offices providing “nap friendly’ quiet spaces in their offices. At BLY we know that not all companies can afford to use space to provide this amenity, which is why we’ve done it for them.

Sleep researchers at sleepfoundation.org mention that, “The circadian rhythm dips and rises at different times of the day, so adults’ strongest sleep drive generally occurs between 2:00-4:00 am and in the afternoon between 1:00-3:00 pm, although there is some variation depending on whether you are a “morning person” or “evening person.””

At BLY we turn our studio into a Nap Space from 1:30-3:30pm daily to allow people the opportunity to honor the body’s natural sleep cycles. A NASA study showed a nap of just 26 minutes can boost productivity by as much as 34 percent and increase alertness by 54 percent.
