Sarah has been practicing yoga since 2007, and completed RYT-200 hour yoga teacher training in 2015. Yoga has been a reliable constant through college and graduate school, major life changes and career shifts. At first, she became a yoga teacher to develop a deeper understanding of yoga and further her own practice; teaching has now become a rewarding service and source of connection to the community.
Sarah’s compassionate teaching style assists students in finding a centered, free feeling in their own bodies, and encourages students to find ways to be kind to themselves. Her classes prioritize physical alignment, guiding students through relaxing, introductory and challenging poses with a unifying focus throughout the class. Students in her classes can expect emphasis on pairing movement with breath, creative transitions into poses, time to explore and play, and individualized attention.
